Using a video camera, digital still camera or webcam, a Windows PC and Stop Motion Pro it is possible to capture one frame of a puppet or object, make a small change and then capture another frame. You can preview your animation instantly with Stop Motion Pro. You can watch the animation and edit frames like a word processor. Advanced tools are included with every version of Stop Motion Pro, including onionskinning, chromakey and frame editing. Audio tools are also included, making lipsync and sound effect matching much easier. Anything that can be put in front of a camera can be animated, the only limit is your imagination. Also included is a time lapse function to watch plants grow, clouds racing past or buildings being erected.

Stop Motion Pro can be used with a wide range of animation techniques, claymation, pixillation, painting, drawing, time-lapse; the possibilities are endless.

Nikon DSLR control and capture. We are proud to announce that Stop Motion Pro HD will interface with many Nikon DSLRs. This gives even greater flexibility in choosing capture aquisition hardware.
BlackMagic interface - HD video capture (1920 x 1080) is possible with compatible Blackmagic capture cards (SDI or HDMI).
RAW image acquisition (from Nikon or Canon cameras) with instant display is also possible. RAW import and Export using popular RAW formats.
Stop Motion Pro HD is compatible with some of the newer Canon DSLR cameras with "Live view" for the video assist.
Dual monitor support - keep your menus on one screen, with another screen dedicated totally to the animation view. A great way to work.
Looping - Stop Motion Pro HD has an extra looping function called "loop single". It is possible to loop the live video or video assist with any stored frame. An auto onionskining system is also available. This tool is indispensable for lining up complex looping actions.
