Auralia 3 guides students through hundreds of graded exercises, and gives instant feedback. You can even play or sing answers using a MIDI keyboard or microphone. Auralia automatically marks the exercises so students can use it on their own, freeing up hours of teaching time. It even records student results so you can monitor their progress over time. This major upgrade includes 15 new topics, a large array of new administration features and a bright new interface.

Features
  • Auralia can now be configured to support multiple syllabi. A separate level structure can be created in each topic for any particular syllabus. Auralia 3.0 comes with its own syllabus, as well as the older level structure for Auralia 2.1. Extra syllabi can easily be added to the system using our Syllabus Editor.
  • All topics now support custom levels, and custom levels can be saved and reused using the Syllabus feature.
  • All existing topics have been enhaced to support level customisation. For example, in the rhythm topics, it is now possible to choose individual note values for each of the time signatures that you wish to practise.
  • Auralia's interface has been given a makeover, keeping the basic workflow, but with more contemporary look and feel.
  • All musical notation has been revised and enhanced, with emphasis on beaming and spacing. Auralia now uses Sibelius fonts for all notation, and in topics such as Melodic Dictation, note selection is done using a keypad similar to that used in Sibelius.
  • It is now possible to use an on screen guitar fretboard to enter your answer in certain topics. The existing on screen keyboard has also been enhanced.
  • The microphone input in Auralia has been improved, using new algorithms that are more accurate and responsive.
  • It is now possible to import lists of students, and in a single user environment, automatic logon of a specified user is available.
