HOW IT WORKS:

1. Check Eligibility
Confirm you have valid documentation of academic enrollment or employment: any dated document that includes both your name, a photo and your school¡¦s name on it.


2. Place your order with Academic & Collegiate Software
Select from 1 of 6 new Adobe CS5 titles, all of which are full, complete and current versions. Limit 1 title per user. Manuals not included. Can only be installed on one privately owned computer.

3. Activate Your Software with Adobe

When you receive your software, you will receive a web address for activation. You will have 30 days to activate it and make it a permanent copy. The software will include instructions on how to submit your proof of eligibility to Adobe and how to obtain the serial numbers to complete installation.

QUALIFIED PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS

STUDENTS:
  • All persons under the age of 13 with parental or guardian consent; OR
  • All persons aged 13 and above attending a K-12 school or being homeschooled; OR
  • All persons attending a Higher Education Entity defined below
EMPLOYEES OF K-12 SCHOOLS, K-12 SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND HIGHER EDUCATION ENTITIES
  • All persons who teach K-12 students, including homeschoolers as defined by state homeschooling regulations found at http://www.hslda.org/laws/default.asp
  • All persons who are employed by K-12 schools or K-12 school district
  • All persons who employed at approved Higher Education Entities defined below
  • All persons authorized in writing by Adobe.
APPROVED HIGHER EDUCATION ENTITIES
Accredited universities, colleges, community or junior colleges or vocational schools which are:
AND
  • offer programs which grant degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two years of full-time study
OR
  • are provided by Adobe to Identit-e in writing

ACCEPTABLE IDENTIFICATION

For students attending K-12 schools, or students who are homeschooled:
  • Photo ID OR other official document showing date of birth AND Letter or document from their educational institution showing institution name, user grade level and indication of current enrollment

For students attending an approved institution of higher education:
  • Valid, current student ID which includes a photo, student’s name and date of issuance and name of educational entity
  • Photo ID of any type including name AND official documentation proving current student status such as official current school transcript indicating name of school and student
  • official current school tuition bill indicating name of school and student
  • other official, dated proof of enrollment
  • other verification authorized in writing by Adobe
For employees of a K-12 school, K-12 School District or approved Higher Education Entity
  • Valid, current faculty/staff ID which includes a photo, employee’s name and date of issuance and name of educational entity
  • Photo ID of any type including name AND official documentation proving current employee status such as:
    • institutional paycheck stub
    • letter on official letterhead from the registrar of the educational entity indicating current employment
    • official documentation of homeschooler status
    • other verification authorized in writing by Adobe

EXAMPLES OF NON-QUALIFIED PERSONS OR ENTITIES:
  • Higher education Student, teachers, faculty or staff of non-accredited schools
  • Non-certified homeschoolers (based on individual state requirements)
  • Museums not wholly owned and operated by an educational entity
  • Hospitals not wholly owned and operated by an educational entity
  • Churches
  • Religious organizations that are not schools or accredited higher education entities
  • Libraries that are not wholly owned by of a school or accredited high education entity
  • Training Centers or schools granting certificates for courses such as computer software training, but are not offering programs which grant degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two year of full time study including without limitation:
    • Ziff Davis University
    • Learning Tree University
    • New Horizon Computer Learning Center
    • Teacher Training Centers
  • Military Schools that do not grant academic degrees
  • Research laboratories not recognized by the Department of Education. For example, entities recognized by other governmental branches such as the Department of Defense or Energy are not eligible. In addition, laboratories qualified as FFRDC (Federally Funded Research and Development Centers) and UARC (University Affiliated Research Centers) and not eligible. Examples include:
    • Los Alamos National Laboratory
    • Sandia National Laboratory
    • Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
  • Others as listed by Adobe from time to time on its Internet Website: http://adobe.com/education/purchasing/qualify.html
